ABC Center Singapore is honoured to be the only center in Singapore to have three Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) on-site, providing direct supervision to all the children. Board Certification entails passing strict certification and testing/qualification as mandated by the global Behavior Analyst Certification Board (www.bacb.com).
Our Key Staff
Hui Ling Loh , M.A, B.C.B.A. is the Singapore Site Behavior therapist/Clinical Administrator. Ms. Hui Ling Loh is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, one of the very few who are in Asia. She received her Master of Arts Degree in Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism and Organizational Behavior Management from Western Michigan University. When Ms. Loh joined Applied Behavior Consultants, Inc. (ABC), she worked with children diagnosed with ASD and other developmental disabilities, and supervising other behavior consultants and ensuring the quality of clients’ program. As the Site Administrator/ Senior Behavior Analyst in ABC Center Singapore, she now oversees the clinical operation of the center including supervising and training of behavior technicians and behavior analysts, conducting assessments, creating and troubleshooting lessons and behavior plans, providing parent training through teaching of ABA techniques to ensure generalization process continues at home. Ms. Loh has provided international consultation in China and Bahrain and presented on the topic “Effectively Managing Behavior Excesses” for the 2nd International Conference “Untangle Autism 2009” at Bahrain.
Mari Ueda-Tao, M.A., B.C.B.A is in charge of ABC International Liaison. Ms. Ueda-Tao holds a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Behavior Analysis from the University of the Pacific, Stockton , CA . She is currently Regional Director in Sacramento, California. She heads the Community Services and Infant/Toddler Programs at ABC, USA, Inc., and is responsible for in-home behavioral assessments and developing behavior intervention plans for children and adults with developmental disabilities, specializing in the treatment of Autism. In addition, Ms. Ueda-Tao has conducted training sessions on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including Positive Programming for Parents, skill teaching techniques, and in-home behavior intervention strategies. She has experience in clinically supervising numerous behavior consultants, specializing in early, intensive intervention techniques, including comprehensive work with infant/toddler age ranges. Ms. Ueda-Tao is a member of the national and state-levels of the Association for Behavior Analysis. Internationally, she has trained a number of teachers and parents on the implementation of ABA principles with children with Autism in Algeria , Bahrain , France , Iceland , Portugal , and Romania .
Gigi Salazar , M.A. is ABC Singapore Operations Manager. Ms Salazar holds a Master of Arts degree in Elementary/Childhood Education from Columbia University, USA. While pursuing her degree,she taught first and third grades in New York City public schools. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree, Major in Management (Honors Program) and Minor in Industrial Psychology, graduating Cum Laude. She initially pursued a career in banking with a large global bank, working on Marketing, Credit Analysis, and Treasury, before deciding to shift into her preferred career of teaching and working with children. Gigi is enjoying her work as Operations Manager for ABC Singapore where she personally sees the significant improvement of the children under her care.
Lilibeth Tan is a Director of ABC Center Singapore. She is a U.S. licensed music and movement teacher with years of experience in teaching children, especially toddlers and pre-school aged children. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. She has a deep passion in reaching out and helping children with autism because she herself is a mother of a special child. She deeply understands the dilemma of a parent of a special child. She has navigated through many different programs that are offered , one of which was Applied Behavior Analysis. With her at the helm, ABC Center Singapore has articulated its core value of ‘The needs of the child should always come first!’. Her goal is to share the benefits of ABA to as many parents of children with Autism, and help them attain the dream of unlocking the full potential in their children, in the same way that it has for her own child.
