Our ABA Therapy Approach

We follow a comprehensive, individualized approach grounded in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis
1

Comprehensive Assessment

Every journey begins with a thorough assessment conducted by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). We evaluate your child’s current skills, challenges, and learning style across multiple domains including communication, social skills, daily living, and behavior.

What we analyze:  Language and communication, cognition and perception, social and play skills, self-help skills, sensory needs and behavioral patterns
2

Individualized Treatment Plan

Based on the assessment, we develop a customized treatment plan with specific, measurable goals tailored to your child’s unique needs and your family’s priorities. Each plan is BCBA-designed and regularly updated.

3

One-on-One Therapy Sessions

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts design individualized therapy sessions. Sessions are engaging and yet designed to maximize learning by generalizing what is learned in therapy into the child’s natural world.

Therapy approach:  Within the science of ABA, we use ABC’s Recreating Environments to Accelerate Learning (R.E.A.L) to enable each child to more effectively connect with his or her natural environment.
4

Data-Driven Progress Monitoring

We collect detailed data during every session to track your child’s progress objectively. This data informs treatment decisions, ensures accountability, and allows us to celebrate successes and adjust strategies as needed.

What Makes Our Approach Different

BCBA Supervised Excellence

All therapy programs are designed and supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts, ensuring the highest quality care aligned with international standards.

Accelerated Generalization

Recreating Environments for Accelerated Learning (REAL) has been authored by ABC USA CEO Brenda Terzich Garland to enable what is learned in therapy sessions to be generalized into the child’s natural environment.

Focus on Communication

We prioritize enabling each child to have a voice, and share his or her needs and thoughts. Hence, functional communication, through ABA verbal behavior and sometimes through PECS are used.

Positive Behavior Support

We address challenging behaviors through understanding their function and teaching replacement skills, never using punishment-based methods.

Cultural Sensitivity

Our programs respect and incorporate Filipino family values and cultural practices, making therapy relevant and meaningful to your family.

Lifelong Learning

Our team stays current with the latest ABA research and techniques through continuous professional development and training.

What is the Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children – P (EIPIC-P)?

EIPIC-P is a programme administered by the Singapore government’s Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) that enables Singaporean or Permanent Resident children who meet criteria to avail of financial subsidies for early intervention.

The children must be between 2 – 6 years old, and recommended by a professional (e.g. recognized paediatrician) for early intervention. The financial subsidy for Singaporean children is dependent on means-tested household income.

ABC Center is honored to have been appointed as an EIPIC-P provider since the programme’s inception in 2018 (previously known as PPIP programme). If you have questions on how to avail of the programme, please contact us and we can guide you through the process.
